Marsha McDonald, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. She specializes in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and individualized treatment planning for individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.
Marsha provides care for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, panic disorder, OCD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. Her approach emphasizes listening to each patient's concerns, understanding their unique experiences, and working collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that supports their mental health, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.
She believes effective psychiatric care extends beyond prescribing medication. Marsha incorporates patient education, symptom monitoring, medication safety, and shared decision-making into her practice. She strives to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and actively participating in their treatment.
Marsha brings a strong clinical foundation to psychiatric practice and is committed to continually advancing her knowledge through evidence-based practice and doctoral education. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Walden University, with a focus on quality improvement and strengthening mental health outcomes in clinical practice.
